Self Quest: What's Falling Away?

Last Saturday, I went to an event in NYC that was part of Lacy Phillips's How to Manifest book tour (her book comes out later this year).

I had only recently learned about Lacy and was instantly drawn to her work — everything she teaches is so beautifully aligned with what I share in The Reset: clearing limiting beliefs, grounding into calm, and creating space for authentic alignment that is key to becoming magnetic.

When I got off the train at Grand Central Station, I was instantly swooped up by the glory of NYC's fall energy. I could feel a buzzing energy in my whole body as I made my way to the event venue where I joined a crowd of hundreds of (mostly) female fellow manifestors. The energy was incredible — warm, electric, hopeful and deeply aligned with the energy I am hoping to give to you through my emails as well

One of the key themes that came up at the event was this: we are in a season of stripping away.

Whether we like it or not, what's no longer aligned is falling away.

Do you feel this?

Sometimes that brings relief, and other times it feels disorienting — even panic-inducing — especially when we don't yet know what's next.

Personally, I feel this deeply. I sense a massive collective shift happening. In my own circle, people are changing jobs, ending relationships, moving, embracing new belief systems. There's a palpable energy of transition in the air.

While I had quietly made these observations myself, when I first heard those words said aloud — a season of stripping away — my body tensed a little. There was a moment of grasping, a “holy sh•t, buckle up” feeling.

And then I remembered: we must release what's no longer aligned to make space for what's meant to come in.

It's something I've come to understand deeply through my study of feng shui this past year — you have to clear out the old before welcoming the new. New ideas, connections and possibilities can't land if your plate (or your counter, per feng shui!) is cluttered and full.

And with that remembering came a quiet surrender.

A tiny whisper that said:

Alright. Take everything I no longer need. I trust this process. Even though it scares me and I don't yet exactly know what's next, I won't grasp for what no longer holds life.

If you feel this way in your life, I invite you to join me in today's Self Quest prompt:

  • Where in your life are things naturally falling away?

  • What no longer fits?

  • Can you meet that space with trust instead of resistance?

with love,

Caroline
