Sunset Clues + Shifting Who You THINK You Are💫
First off, happy happy New Year!
I hope you arrived in 2026 feeling healthy, content, and excited for what's ahead. I was lucky enough to escape the Northeast cold for a week and spend some time with my family in warm weather over the holiday.
One evening, during golden hour (my favorite time of the day always😊), the sky gifted us the most magical display of painted clouds.
Natural beauty like this has a way of slowing down time — inviting us to pause, to breathe, to stand in awe, and to land fully in the present moment.
As I sat barefoot in the sand watching my kids run in and out of the ocean, I felt an overwhelming wave of gratitude for my life. Everything that truly matters became crystal clear. The weight of the world melted away momentarily.
As I'm reflecting on this, I realize that moments of total presence — those moments when you come home to yourself and feel total peace— feel more important than ever.
We live in a time where everything is speeding up. It's so easy to get swept into noise, comparison, distraction, and the gravitational pull of things we cannot control.
That is why grounding into yourself — knowing who you are and feeling securely connected to your authenticity — is more essential than ever.
In one of my recent notes to you, I talked about 2025 being a year of shedding, of letting go of what no longer fits.
Now that we've stepped into a new year, let's revisit this theme through the lens of your self-image — who you believe yourself to be, and who you're ready to become.
For today's Self Quest, here are two questions to reflect on:
1. How have I been seeing myself in ways that no longer serve me?
→ Maybe you see yourself as someone who's always a “work in progress,” never fully satisfied with who you are, what you look like, or what you've accomplished.
→ Maybe you carry the belief that you're not enough — and therefore undeserving of the life you truly want.
→ Maybe you've people-pleased your way into exhaustion, resentment, and a shrinking version of yourself.
2. How do I want to upgrade my self-image?
→ Maybe you want to see yourself as someone with healthy, confident boundaries.
→ Maybe you're ready to step into a way of being that communicates worthiness, value, and deservability.
→ Maybe you want to embody a self-image that feels authentic, beautiful, vibrant, and magnetic — one that aligns with the life you want to attract.
Here's the truth:
You teach other people how to treat you by how you see yourself.
Your energy — the way you carry yourself, speak to yourself, believe in yourself — comes directly from your self-image.
And that energy is what communicates with the outside world.
It either attracts or repels what you desire.
So, as we step into 2026, I'd love to know:
What aspects of your old self-image are you ready to leave behind?
And what new qualities, beliefs, or ways of being do you want to invite in?
Personally, this year I am leaving behind the part of me that is willing to sacrifice parts of my authenticity in order to fit in. And I am inviting in bold expression and a more unconventional lifestyle for myself and my family. So much to come in 2026 😉
With love — and to a beautiful year ahead 💗
