Tune IN: What is this season about for YOU?

I’m going to try something new: I’m going to create shorter posts that serve as a way for you to TUNE INTO yourself and experience an honest CONNECTION with YOU.

I believe that if you are connected to yourself in a positive and optimistic way, EVERYTHING in your life works better. But that connection to yourself needs tending and nurturing (like any thriving relationship).

Ans yes, I believe that positive self-connection IS possible even if the layers of your life feel chaotic at times, complex, and all demanding. In fact, I know so because my life is not that different from yours.

The reason I believe that an honest self-understanding is so crucial is because it sets the foundation for you to be able to create an aligned, optimistic, meaningful, and joyful life. And that is exactly what I am here to help you with:)

Today’s TUNE IN question is: What is this season about for YOU?

Here is what I mean and why this is on my mind right now:

About two weeks ago, I weaned my youngest, Zoe. I didn’t realize at first, but wrapping up our time of being in this intimate cocoon of nursing her meant that I completed a SEVEN YEAR journey of either being pregnant or nursing a baby.

Whoa!

For me, the weaning stage was difficult emotionally and hormonally with each of my kids, but this time knowing that this was the last time my body would serve as direct nourishment for one of my children felt BIG.

A season is coming to an end.

And a new one is starting.

Not being needed directly for your child’s daily food intake means greater independence and freedom, greater ownership over my body, but it also drives home the fact that my little baby is not so little anymore, that the cliché of time flying is true, and that a new season is, in fact starting.

So I began to play with some “self-connecting” questions on my daily walks: What season am now at the onset of? What meaning do I want to give this next season? What are the values and intentions that are nearest and dearest to my heart right now?

And then, the most important question hit me: Which part of the woman that I am wants to find expression in this next season?

Yes. Yes. Yes.

This is the question we all need to ask ourselves, I thought!

For me, this simple question inspired a flood of ideas, dreams, hopes, realizations, manifestations, and intentions. And while I am still a little sad about one of the most precious seasons of my life ending, I am also feeling immense optimism and joy just thinking about what’s ahead.

So, I want to pass this question to you: What season are you in right now? Which part of the woman that you are wants to find expression in this season? Is this season at its beginning, somewhere in the middle, or coming to an end?

I hope you find that these questions offer a way to step into deeper connection with yourself and support you in OWNING this season with greater intention and personal leadership.

Warmly,

Caroline
