What I'm loving: safer, cleaner, beautiful skincare for you and your kids

One of the most frequent questions I get from my clients, friends and family alike is "Caroline, what products do you use on your skin? What brands do you trust & use on your boys?"

Until recently I had no good answer for that question despite dedicating the last 6+ months to researching personal care products.

(If you want to skip ahead and just want to know what I ended up falling in love with, click here)

After I auto-discarded a gazillion toxic, chemical laden products that I would never use on my or my kids' bodies, I found products with harmless ingredient lists, but they didn't work for my skin.

Some made my complexion look dull, some made me break out, some left my skin even dryer than before.

I cannot tell you how many hours of research and how much money I have spent on finding a product line that I love for me and my boys and that I feel confident in recommending to others.

Plus, I have to admit, I am a bit of a skin snob.

I want products that truly clean and hydrate my skin, that smell nice and subtle, that make me feel beautiful and radiant even if I am not wearing a smidge of makeup.

And along with all that, I refuse to sacrifice my whole body health –think my endocrine and reproductive health, my mental health, my risk for cancer and all sorts of other diseases– for my external beauty. It's just not going to happen.

Enter me discovering Beautycounter.

A colleague of mine introduced me to them and as soon as I tried their skincare line, their makeup and their baby and kids products, I was totally hooked and decided to join Beautycounter as a consultant.

You can find all my personal favorite products here.

Not only are their products incredible, truly deliver, and make you feel as glam as all the high end products on the market, but they are safe and clean and adhere to an incredibly high standard to protect your health and well-being.

For example, did you know that the European Union has banned over 1400 chemicals from being used in personal care products, while the U.S. has only banned 30?! Well, Beautycounter has banned over 1500 questionable chemicals from being used in their skincare and cosmetic products. These chemicals are on their "Never-list."

The more I learned about Beautycounter, the more enthusiastic I became about their mission to get safer products into the hands of everyone.

You, your kids and your loved ones all deserve to have access to personal care products that are not silently creating major health hazards.

Let's remember that what we put ON our bodies is just as important as what we put INTO our bodies.

I'd love to invite you to come along with me and make your skincare routine, your beauty regiment, and your kids' skincare as effortless, indulgent, and fun as possible; all while staying committed to your health and joining a movement that pushes forward the safety standard for all of us.
